Monthly spending cap
Limits compute used each UTC month, from $5 to $1,000. Raising the cap does not add funds. Compute stops when funded runtime or the cap runs out.
Automatic recharge
Machine rates
Running and provisioning time, including idle time, is metered. Stopped machines incur no compute charges. All five sizes include the HTTP API, SSH, browser terminals, outbound internet, and ephemeral disk.

Example: $5 funds 250 Lite hours or approximately 41.7 Small hours. A Small machine running for 720 hours costs $86.40. Usage across all machines comes out of the same balance.
Runtime is reserved before machines run; stopping releases unused funding. Production launches require at least 24 hours of funding for the resulting fleet. Existing production machines stop when their funded runtime ends and can resume after funding is restored.

Does my balance expire each month?
No. Unused prepaid funds carry forward. There is no monthly subscription or charge unless you explicitly enable automatic recharge.
How do reservations and the spending cap work?
Your current balance includes funding reserved for running machines. Available funding excludes those reservations. Only elapsed runtime is charged; stopping releases unused funds. Your monthly compute cap is an additional limit, independent of your balance and automatic recharge maximum.
Do files persist when a workspace stops?
Save a workspace before stopping to restore its filesystem into a fresh container. Ordinary stop discards unsaved changes. Keep independent backups; see saved workspaces and file transfer.
Is there an SLA or priority support?
Self-service compute includes no uptime SLA, guaranteed support response time, or automatic service credits. Review the trust center and service status, or contact Andrew about your requirements.
